My Philosophy

Kavachi is the philosophy that underpins my work with athletes. Named after the underwater volcano, it represents hidden potential — powerful, often unseen, and waiting to be expressed.
I use Kavachi as a metaphor for athletic development. Beneath performance outcomes are deeper forces: motivation, values, resilience, clarity, and self-understanding. My work helps athletes develop these foundations so performance becomes not only stronger, but more sustainable and meaningful.
This approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, shaped by my background in sport psychology and sport performance. It draws on mindfulness, self-determination theory, and positive psychology to support autonomy, purpose, and long-term growth.
Kavachi is built on a simple belief: athletes do not have to choose between performance and fulfilment. With the right foundations, they can pursue both.

Kavachi is for athletes who want a deeper and more thoughtful approach to performance — one built on reflection, resilience, intention, and meaningful long-term growth.
I work best with people who want more than surface-level coaching: athletes who care about performance, but also about how they develop, what drives them, and the kind of person they become through sport.
If that resonates with you, we will probably work well together.

Success is a journey, not a destination. It requires constant effort, vigilance and reevaluation. – Mark Twain
